Backup all necessary data files My Documents etc from the ME system onto a spare
drive or some blank DVDs.
Then reinstall XP from scratch and make sure you FORMAT the whole drive so the
original ME system is gone.
Remember this procedure will delete your programs and data files hence the backup
to spare drive/DVDs
I rarely return to a problem once I've answered it so make sure you clearly define
what the trouble is.
