windows xp installed over windows Me

ok, i just recently installed windows XP on my laptop, but i had windows Me on
there already and i didnt uninstall windows Me before i installed XP, so when i boot
up my computer up it gives me the option to choose between Me or XP. so when i boot
up XP i get this constant error message saying low disk space, and ive tried everything
to clear it up that i know is safe, but im scared to delete something out of SYSTEM
SAV (:D) because i dont wanna mess up my computer. When i boot up windows Me, i never
get that message, i can download so much and never get the error saying "Low Disk
Space." I also have all of my files and setting on Me still, i had to call my ISP
and get them to reinstall my modem to XP cause i did a clean installation. So if
anyone could help me with removing some space so i dont get that message on XP, or
helping me uninstall windows Me and get all my files and stuff to XP, that would
be greatly appreciated! thanks for your time reading this and if you need any help
