Hello. Today all sound and volume goes to a loud scratchy "white-noise" whenever any kind of music or sound-track is played. Of note, I was using stand-alone speakers when this began and subsequently went back to the original speakers that are in the monitor...with the same results. Any thoughts as to what happened or how to fix it? I have an HP Pavillion 1100 desktop, 2.8 ghz, 504 mb ram, service pack 2, 160 gb harddrive. Thank you for any replies. Bob
