Of course. Apologies. I default to revealing as little information as possible, because,
you know, the Internet. :D Besides I don't like to admit we still use this horrible
program.
The program is called Exchequer, which is basically a snazzy finance-and-sales user
interface grafted on to a split Pervasive RDBMS/Btrieve network-shared flatfile database
arrangement. It's written in Delphi. We're on version 6.0.0.1, if memory serves.

I think it uses global settings exclusively. I wrote a virtual printer for it and
didn't have to configure it in Exchequer at all. I did have to restart Exchequer
to get it to see the new printer, though. As much as I dislike the program, I don't
think it's responsible for this "twitching combo box", if I might call it that.
