i beg to differ about the 2GB limit, as what the
previous poster just stated. but a 32-bit XP system can still recognize and use RAM
up to 3GB. i can personally vouch for it from experience.
so even if you plug a 4GB or higher stick, a 32-bit
system will only detect 3GB, nothing more.
the unused part is practically only going to waste,
not unless you convert the excess bandwidth as part of a RAM disk.
