Ok, I tried that. Local User didn't have the key, so I put it in, Local Machine already did. And now, even after multiple reboots and all, out of the two drives, the first dvd burner STILL won't keep the settings, but the 2nd (older) drive is keeping the setting now. So the problem is now half-fixed. Any other good ideas?
