Data retreival Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 7:25 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Matt Jones (164 messages posted) HI, I am trying to recover data from a corrupt hard drive. My computer can see it in device manager but not in the my computer section. I have used variouse recovery software but just getting read errors. Most software can not see the drive. Should I format the drive and then see if I can do a recovery? Cheers Matt.
