I'm at my wits end with this. When I insert a CD or DVD I get a screen with the
contents of the disc. It will not stat playing until I double-click on one of the
files. I've checked every conceivable setting I can find. The autoplay tab is set
to start Windows Media Player but it won't. I've read everything I can find here
in the forum and at Microsoft. I've checked registry settings and everything seems
to be as it should be. I know it's not the CD roms because they've got the latest
drivers and at one time, they did start autoplay music CD's. I don't know what else
to check or research.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Anywhere I can check for answers? Thank you in
Advance.
