Hi,
I'm new to this forum, have searched the Vista threads & have not found this issue.
If it does already exist, I apologise in advance & would be grateful to be pointed
in the right direction. Otherwise any advice gartefully accepted.
There may be 2 symptoms or 2 separate problems but they seem to often occur together.
OS: Vista Home Preimum, H/W: HP Pavillion Notebook Centrino Duo.
- Opening an explorer window (IE8 or Windows explorer) will sometimes(?) toggle
between the maximized view and the restored view. Frequency varies according to processor
load but can reach about 10 Hz. Repeated pressing of the key sometimes halts
the sequence. Sometimes selecting another (already open) window of another application
from the task bar halts the sequence. To date I have been unable to find a pattern
to this seemingly random behaviour except that it seems more probable if an Adobe
Acrobat window is also open.
- Excel workbook is open in a window and all of a sudden (without keystrokes /
mouse action) it will insert chart pages at the rate of approx. 50 - 100 sheets /
second
Hopefully someone has some insight to this problem.
