Cannot Read A Multisession DVD-R

Awhile back I burned a data DVD-R using the Windows Vista burn option.  The DVD worked fine after that. Recently, however, a second session has somehow been added to the disc and now I can get to the files that were previously there. I used MagicDisc and I was able to see that the files are still on the disc.  There is Session 1 - Track 1 that contains the files I want and Session 2 - Track 1 appears to be empty.  When I put the disc in my drive, it treats it as a blank disc.  I tried using MagicDisc to make a burn image file but when I tried to burn the image file onto a new DVD-R, Roxio wouldn't accept the blank disc for some reason.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need these files for work and this is the only backup copy we have.

Thanks,

Kristi
