reboot, keep pressing F8 key, choose to boot into safe mode. try to delete icon in safe mode or drag and drop into recycle bin, or highlight, cut and paste into recycle bin, or highlite, cut, open windows explorer, and paste into a temp directory. then attempt to delete the temp directory. empty recycle bin. if hangs during mt of recycle bin, reboot normally and should be gone. if not gone by next reboot, rename icon to 'BS', then try to delte. right click on icon, click properties, then find the path and go to windows explorer, find that path and delete any remnants of it. go back and try to delete icon again. if fail, then get a can of gasoline, pour on icon, light match, throw, and walk/run away.
