No recovery partition on the drive. The owner lost the packet shipped with the unit,
so therefore if there was a recovery CD in there, it's gone now. Under XP you could
just backup wpa.dbl and you'd be set, there were also tools to rip the 25-char product
key out of the registry even if it was offline, but I know Vista does it entirely
differently...
