99.9% sure your HDD is failing.
Before doing anything else, back up all your data
Anything else you do may use up the precious dying moments of your HDD.
Then you can do whatever of these suits you best:
1. Sit back and wait for the end
2. Run the manufacturer's diagnostics to confirm the diagnosis
3. Buy a new HDD anyway
4. You could try taking an image backup of the HDD and cloning the new drive when
you get it. This might not work - nothing lost - but if it does it will carry everything
you have - operating system, installed programs, data, settings - forward.
