I believe that Vista has packet writing software built-in to it (same as DirectCD
or InCD). and thus a CDRW should behave like a giant floppy in Vista. This was not
true for previous versions of Windows, which you indicated in the previous post you
believed to be true. MS's CD burning software seems to "break" easily in comparison
to third party software.
In any case, you should also be aware that CDRW's are less reliable than CDR's.
As was pointed out in one of the other posts, thumb drives are much easier to use
than CDR or CDRW, unless you want long term archiving, in which case CDR is the best
way to go.
