I recently accidentally wiped my Windows partition trying to install Ubuntu Linux, which didn't happen on my other computer, but anyway...

On reinstalling, no network device is detected. It's a Dell Laptop with a built-in WLAN device which worked well enough when I first used it. When I start up, the Welcoming Center comes up and I click Connect to the Internet, and I get the message "Windows did not detect any networking hardware."
