HP Desktop Powering Off Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 9:20 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dustin (3 messages posted) Hello! My aunt has a HP desktop. It has Windows ME on it, and that's all I really know. I know she use to use it all the time until she got her notebook. She decided to get it out again for a friend to use, and it worked for a week, but is now having issues. They say when they turn it on, it will shut off 5 seconds later, then it sometimes will turn around and power back up. I told her to try different power cords because hers might be bad. Is there anything else that could be doing this?
