If you are running that from removable media,
the physical condition of the install media could be an issue.
The only common denominator of the installed driver failing multiple times
is the HDD--or an infection that attacks that code specifically.

Degradation of media and its contents over time is well documented.

Some folks experience catastrophic failure of drives;
most folks get little warnings that get louder over time.
[1] ...though Linux guys are very aware that
graphics card manufacturers are the armpit of the computing industry,
giving the poorest support of any vendors as a group.
...and, of course, vendor-to-vendor quality
is a significant variable for white box builders.
