That's an interesting turn of phrase
--considering that the IBM-PC is an open hardware architecture.
Back in the '80s, the phrase "PC clone" was widely used
--but now pretty much everything is assumed to be made
by someone *other* than IBM Corp.

|Check Bios setup for proper settings.

Again (for about the thousandth time), the phrase that pays is "CMOS Setup".
If you look at the boot screen from your box,
I'll lay odds that you see that *exact* phrase displayed.
Again, CMOS and BIOS are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT chips.

Aside from that, the advice is good.
The message is obviously from the POST routine
and the issue is between the OP and his MoBo manufacturer.
It is a *hardware* issue--NOT a Windoze issue.
