Are you serious Ricker? Did I try google?
Well, Mr. Sarcastic. If I may ask you a question. Since I know you tried google and
saw many converters that say "designed for Windows 95/98/2000/XP/Vista" Did you actually
try to install any on a Windows 95 system? I sure did. And I found that 99% of them
gave me a .dll error. And when I tried working around those .dll errors by downloading
the appropriate .dll. Oh but don't worry Ricker, I got more errors such as "A device
attached to the system is not functioning" -or- ".... dll could not be linked to
missing blah blah.
Many converters SAY they are compatable with Win95, but I realized this is just not
true. My thinking is that these developers have never even tested it on 95 but they
list all of the OS's any way so they get as many hits as possible with downloads
etc.
Now, one converter that took days to find did happen to come through for me. And
I did not find this on Google. For others who are wondering the converter to use
is called. "1st Video Converter"
This IS COMPATABLE with Windows 95.
It requires no haggling with .dlls or adjustments to your system. Just install...and
run.
So no thanks to Ricker, I hope you all enjoy this software as much as I do.
Best of luck,
Greg
