Convert to Cinepak or Animation (Quicktime) Friday, November 28, 2008 at 6:02 am Windows 95 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Greg (4 messages posted) Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me find software or a site that converts videos that use newer codecs to the regular Cinepak (original Windows Media in Windows 95) or Animation (old school Quicktime for Windows). I have a Gateway 2000 SOLO 75Mhz laptop, and the new codecs (like new quicktime, and newer .avi's) run very slowly. The only videos that seeom to run smoothly are the Cinepak and Animation Codecs (Quicktime). Could someone suggest a converter out there that I could use?
