Is there a way to Keep Win Live Photo Gallery from importing photos to hard drive? I prefer to keep and work on photos on an external hard drive. It was very easy to do in XP's MS Picture It Photo 7.0 which I understand will not work in Win 7

Link shows how to add different locations for picture storage. There are some Forums around for the program also. http://www.digitalmediausers.com/Tutorials/WindowsPhotoGalleryPart3/tabid/60/Default.aspx

Hi, If Steve's link (thank you S. for this great tutorial link) dosen't answer or solve your Q. Click on your Start Button and type "Autoplay Default" without the quotes and when you see a selection, choose the first one which should be "Change default.......", Click on it and you will get a Screen with All your Autoplay selections, and that is where you can make changes, for example: Pictures: from "Import Pictures from WL Photo Gallery" to "Ask me Everytime" or "Take no Action".
