Arranging photos Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 5:11 pm Windows 7 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by frank (6 messages posted) When I wanted to sort (or arrange or re-arrange) photos on the screen in XP, all I did was to click and drag them to their new position and the other photos would shuffle along to allow this. After getting them in the desired order I would usually then number them in bulk. How can I arrange them in W7?  Lots of groupings and orders are offered but no 'freehand' capability.  It is so useful to be able to do this - essential, almost, that I think it must be possible.  It would be very tedious to have to rename each photo individually.
