I'm not sure if this works in Win 2000, but another way might be to right click the my computer icon and select properties. Then Select the Advanced tab and in the Startup and Recovery section click the settings button. From there you might be able to select the default operating system and uncheck a box that says time to display a list of operating systems. It's been a while since I used Win 2000 and I can't remember if these options are available. Worst case you should be able to modify the boot.ini file as described in the link I posted in my previous message. Good luck.
