We suppose you are using SP4 and you have received some recent updates from MS. Because you have so many issues, did you mount you backup system to prove see if destructive changes have been made recently to the current Windows System? If the problem is even on the backup system, you would have reason to look for a hardware failure.
If you do not have s mountable backup, this is a good time to make one. Get a spare hard drive big enough for your basic needs. Do a new install of Win 2K and then the SP4, but stay off the internet. Then see if the PC works with the newly installed win 2K server.
Oh, when I said mountable backup, I mean a hard drive that is a complete system the was made as a image from a earlier time.
