Thanks Dex, I'll try that er, uh I guess whenever I find my install CD. At least it was my Boss who borrowed my disc!! I use laptops to program field devices,(PLC's, Radio Modems, etc.) and they only last about 2 years before they wear out. Since my serial port is already dead, (using an USB converter) and the power jack is getting the "flexibles" again, I think it's time for a new one!
