I hit that problem once. The solution is to use a win98/winme boot diskette (if you 
don't have one, get it from http://www.bootdisk.com/), 
 boot to the command prompt, and use fdisk to remove any exiting partitions. Now 
all drive is unformatted space. If win2k refuses to work even with this, go back 
to the diskette and create a partition and format it with FAT32. Install win2k in 
that. If you want NTFS, you may change during, or after the installlation.
